What we are looking for: 

We are looking for a Senior PHP Developer responsible for managing back-end services and the interchange of data between the server and the users. Your primary focus will be the development of all server-side logic, definition and maintenance of the central system, and ensuring high performance and responsiveness to requests from the front-end. You will also be responsible for integrating the front-end elements built by your co-workers into the application. Therefore, a basic understanding of front-end technologies is necessary as well. This role will be located here at our Engineering headquarters in Singapore.

Skills & Experiences

  • 3+ years of experience in a customer centric or operational role
  • Strong attention to detail – this is a must!
  • Out of the box thinker who loves problem solving
  • Proactive approach in addressing any operational issues
  • Excellent time management with the ability to handle projects simultaneously
  • Comfortable speaking with customers and can convey a level of empathy
  • Strong teaming/interpersonal skills
  • Mandarin speaking a plus 

Responsibility

  • Responsibilities:
    • Assist with processing of daily payments including checking for accuracy, on time scheduling and confirming payment success
    • Assist with on-boarding new SMEs through conducting the iPaymy“ Know Your Customer” (KYC) process and ensuring all on-boarding requirements are fulfilled
    • Conduct regular internal audits validating all documentation complies with iPaymy’s policy and procedure
    • Provide a superior level of customer support through answering customer queries via multiple channels (e-mail, chat, phone), generating invoices/statements and providing an overall “white glove” service
    • Prepare operational reports on key metrics to be shared both internally and externally to our partners and investors
    • Seek out methodologies to continuously improve operational processes
    • Work closely with the sales, marketing, operations and product departments on execution of several strategic initiatives
